AV Figures is a company that sells decals and accessories to make your own custom LEGO figures. We also sell printed figures, custom sets, and instructions for those sets!

We're a group of people who have a passion for customizing LEGO figures at a higher level of detail than any other company has achieved. We're also really passionate about creativity and positivity, and value the community we've built of people who share our passions!

Our fans and buyers aren't normal collectors or customizers - They're AV8R's. These are people who never settle and always go above and beyond.

AV8R's are anyone who has become a part of our community! There are no requirements to join except for an open mind and a shared passion in the products we offer and what we stand for.

We're not a large corporation. We don't have some big corporate office; rather, our HQ is located in Andrew's living room! AV Figures is a home-grown business, consisting of a small staff of people who are dedicated to growing this community. We're a small company doing big things, so everything you see has a personal touch to it!

We are monitoring the COVID-19 Crisis closely, but you can be rest assured that it has not affected our operations! We are continuing to ship orders as normal, and have taken precautions to ensure our workspace is sanitary and our physical contact with others is limited.

Unfortunately, at this time we are not accepting custom orders ): We will make an announcement when we will, though!

Due to our extremely wide selection of decals, we haven't had the chance to decal all of them! The team is working on decaling one of every design we've made. We will be updating website photos as they are made!

We're working on a public roadmap, but at the moment we only have a tentative release date of new items on:

May 18th, 2020

We also have monthly restocks on casts, but have no set date for restocks on printed figures.

Product Questions

Decals

Our decals are not ordinary stickers. They are high-quality waterslide decals, which are a thin, transparent film with an adhesive backing. Once you cut out the design, simply place the decal in water. Water will activate the decal, and the transparent film will slide off of the white paper backing. The decal has an adhesive behind it, and can be used to apply the decal to any surface! Once applied, sprayed with clear coat sealant to ensure the decal stays on.

Unfortunately, at the moment we do not offer decals that are fully compatible with Arealight helmets. You can potentially modify the decals to fit, but they are not designed to fit those helmets.

We will offer Arealight helmet decals as standalone items later this year.

You get a set of waterslide decals that have every design needed to make a full figure of your favorite clone. There is a tutorial on how to apply decals on our YouTube (AV Figures). I will be releasing a course on how to apply these in greater detail shortly.

The Armor Type option refers to how the design of the figure will look. Animated armor looks like the clones in the Clone Wars TV show, while Realistic armor looks like clones in the movies.

All of our decals are meant to be applied over blank white figure parts. 

The required helmets you will need can be found in the description of each product listing.

Resin Casts

Resin is a plastic material that we use to create our helmets and accessories. We are not yet able to offer injection-molded items, but our resin casts are near-perfect replicas of the item they were based on. These casts are durable and compatible with LEGO figures.

Proper casts are categorized by a clean exterior free of air bubbles. Some casts may have ridges along the moldline that can easily be removed using a moldline remover or hobby knife. It is important to note that due to the nature of resin, the helmets expand ever so slightly and are loose on a figure's head. A little bit of material like Sticky Tack keeps these in place, while still retaining posability! Loose helmets are still considered good casts.

UV Printed Figures

The figures we sell on the website are made with genuine LEGO pieces. We utilize UV Printing technology to print designs directly onto the figure, creating detailed and extremely durable prints!

The helmets that are included with some figures are custom accessories that are resin casted by us. Our helmets are made by applying waterslide decals to these resin casts.

Proper prints are categorized by alignment. The printing must not be misaligned by more than 300 microns to be considered a good print. Any prints with more than 300 microns of misalignment are categorized as misprints.

UV Printing is the most durable form of production in the industry. You'll find that UV Printing does not scrape or scratch off nearly as easier as pad printed LEGO figures do.

Shipping Questions

As per our policy, we will not modify the customs declaration of a package to display values lower than what you have paid. This is illegal and can result in fines or legal issues. You can review our full shipping policy here.

If you are being charged with an import fee, you must pay for that fee in order to receive your package. As per our policy, AV Figures is NOT responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.). You can review our full shipping policy here.

Yes, we do! We ship to any verified address in the world. Please make sure that your address is input in English characters. If your address is placed in other languages, our shipping software will not be able to detect the address and your order will be refunded.

Due to the COVID-19 Crisis, USPS is not able to ship everywhere. As of May 8th, 2020, The U.S. Postal Service currently does not accept shipments to the following countries due to either lack of transportation or suspension of mail service in that country:

Order Status

Due to the rapid growth of the company, we receive more orders per month every month. The workshop staff is able to pack your order within 3-7 business days, but that can increase to 7-10 business days on large release dates. Please note that the tracking email you receive is a notification that your label has been made, but is not indicative of whether or not your order has been dropped off at the post office.

After dropping off your package to the post office, domestic orders take 3-5 business days to arrive at your doorstep. International orders can take upwards of 14 days to arrive.

Simply log in to your account on our website. You will be shown your order history, and the fulfillment status of your order(s) will be displayed. Click on the order number you would like to track. If it is marked as fulfilled, you will be able to see a tracking number below the list of items on your order. This is an link that can be clicked to display the tracking information!

USPS Tracking is not actually a live tracking system. When your package is scanned, it is sorted into its next area of transportation and tracking updates at the expected time the package is supposed to arrive in the next area. Sometimes, delivery estimates are not accurate, or the item was sorted into the next day's delivery due to full cargo loads. It may also have been delivered to a neighbor's address, so please notify your neighbors and ask if they've received any packages under your name. If it is not with your neighbors, please allow up to a week for any updates to occur. If nothing shows up after a week from the day it was marked as delivered, we can offer you full refund.

Order-Related Questions

You can cancel your order within 3 business days of placing it as long as no tracking information has been provided. If you have already received tracking information, it is too late to cancel your order.

Once an order is placed, we cannot change it for you. Please make sure you add the correct items in your cart before placing your order.

If you received the wrong items or the incorrect quantity, we can replace them or send a refund. It is important to note that due to the nature of resin, the helmets expand ever so slightly and are loose on a figure's head. A little bit of material like Sticky Tack keeps these in place, while still retaining posability! Loose helmets are still considered good casts as long as they are no air bubbles on the outer surface, excessively large ridges, cracks, or is squishy.
